I am nearly 48 and wish I had read this earlier. I have MS and am on disability. that pushed me into the world of Social Security much earlier than I ever thought I would be there. I do wish I had pursued my dreams earlier. If I had, I might have gotten to be a teacher for a little while.

That is all water under the bridge now, and like Winnie the Pooh, I am watching the stick float by on the other side.

However, I do not regret one moment I spent mothering my daughter. She is my greatest accomplishment!

This post is getting too long, so I will just say thank you for this. Also, thank you for not putting it behind the paywall. There is someone out there who needs very much to read this!

I love to write and self-published my first book of poetry last year, a book of Haiku this year, and a book of short stories later this year!
