A Drabble

A Drabble is a tale told in exactly 100 words.

I always related to the playthings relegated to the Island of Misfit Toys. I never fit in with other children.

I don’t look like them. I am tall and lanky. I don’t speak like them. My vocabulary too verbose.

I can’t do much about my physicality, but I do tend to bend down in order to not lord over the other children. It does no good. They still call me names such as Goliath.

I’ve tried making my vocabulary more mainstream, but they still accuse me of being smarter than them.

I wish I could find an island for misfits.

I love to write and self-published my first book of poetry last year, a book of Haiku this year, and a book of short stories later this year!
