A wild Drabble

A Drabble is a story of exactly 100 words.

She had always loved nature. The chirping of the birds and the crunching of the leaves, the pristine snow, all held wonder for her.

But she had never explored the wild as deeply as she had since the bite. The wolf had shown her the wonders of life in the wild. Hunting her own food under the full moon and communing with the wolves had opened her eyes to the lives of the wild. They interacted and provided sustenance for each other.

What she didn’t understand during the day is what was happening to the children during the full moon.
